and fairy tales, Roman festivals, metamorphic humanoids, heavenly
creatures; these are some of the ingredients of Gina Litherland’s pictorial
wonder worlds. This solo exhibition in Chicago in the Spring of 2013 brings
together her most recent paintings which are a set of close-knit oils on
masonite that display powerfully inspiring aesthetic affinities.
