The house was built in 1972 by Joe D'Urso. Black T-111 lines the inside and outside walls. 2Michaels kept the original feel of the house, using the original staircase, railings, platforms, metal kitchen, and bathroom cabinets. They redesigned the kitchen and bathrooms, using Ann Sacks plumbing fixtures and tiles. The floors were changed from dark grey industrial carpeting to white oak wood. They carefully designed a new sunroom, creating a bright, sunny space to contrast with the darkness of the walls.
