The Holy Order of the Lemon was officially founded by a ritual action carried out at the weirs above Islandbridge at the Irish War Memorial Park in Dublin, which we infused with the spirit of peace: - at high tide on the Autumn equinox, lemons and yellow flowers were strewn upon the waters of the Liffey - a highly Joycean act - and thus floated out through Dublin to sea with the tide.
