This sculpture was created using salvaged American Cherry, American Walnut, and African Sapele. This is a fairly complicated piece that was fun to make. Each leaf was carved separately from a scrap of wood. The owl was carved from Sapele and then set into a slab of Cherry. The artwork was carved, painted, stained with oil paint, detailed with pyrography, and then assembled.<br />

It comes ready to hang with a wire on the back.<br
